FERIT, in collaboration with IBM and CROZ, is launching the Mainframe Academy, a program aimed to provide students with a multidisciplinary and comprehensive preparation for a career in one of the most widely used technologies globally – IBM Mainframe.

The official launch of the Academy will be marked by a Mainframe Day where students will have the opportunity to meet experts in mainframe technology and participate in various activities in this field. The „Meet the Mainframers“ part of the event will allow students to interact directly with experienced professionals from Croatian companies and institutions, exploring career and employment development opportunities in mainframe technologies.

We hereby invite all companies that are users and/or deal with mainframe technologies to join us and support Mainframe Day! Your presence contributes to connecting future professionals with the industry and allows FERIT students and other participants to gain insights into the real-world applications and challenges that mainframe technology brings. The event will take place on November 15, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM in front of the FERIT Council Hall, Kneza Trpimira 2B, with the official opening of the Mainframe Academy scheduled for 11:30 AM in the Council Hall.
